Footy Bookmark

Good Morning :)

I am busy getting ready for the first Crafts 4 Eternity 12 hour crop at the moment but I managed to squeeze in a quick DT project for this weeks C4E recipe challenge.

Our challenge this week is SPORT. We would like you to share any type of project with a sporty theme or element.

Our lovely sponsors this week are Stamping All Day who are offering one randomly selected winner 3 downloads from their fabulous collection.

My project this week is a bookmark for my eldest son. I caught him turning down the corners of a book he was reading naughty boy! So I made him a little bookmark to use instead.

I made the bookmark at the same time as making the Now and Then Mini album for one of Sunday's workshops so it matches perfectly lol!

I used a scrap of cardstock, added some modelling paste through a stencil, then painted it with Gesso before adding Blue acrylic paint.

The background was completed with some splats of red Dylusions ink and silver Maya gold paint then added some Gesso circles using a bottle top.

My son is a big football fan so this Kenny K image was perfect.

He is coloured with Copics.

All that remains is for me to say ...

Hop over HERE to see all the gorgeous DT inspiration and enter this week challenge :)

... and if you fancy 12 hours of workshops, crafting, cake and chat I have space still available for Sundays event, email me at crafts4eternity@aol.co.uk for details.

Mixed Media Weaving Card

Good Morning :)

What a change in the weather! The week started hot and sunny and now ends soggy! Not surprised with Glastonbury on this weekend and a huge concert on the beach here too!

I have a card to share today :) Made for the Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge all the details, entry and gorgeous DT inspiration can be found HERE. We have a fab prize from Sassy Studio Design up for grabs!

I have put a step by step tutorial for this card HERE.

My card this week is a mixed media card using paper weaving.

The finished card has a lot of lovely texture.

I used some pattern paper to create a woven background and used, stamping, modelling paste and Dylusions Inks.

I have been playing with some new paints I got, I ordered them to see what they would be like for the Mixed Media kits I am working on. They are fabulous! Viva Decor make a range of gorgeous paints and I have to say I am smitten lol!

The large chipboard cog was coloured with Viva Decor Maya Gold and the smaller black cogs were coloured with Viva Decor Inka Gold both in silver.

Please do check out the Challenge HERE and hop over HERE for the card tutorial.

Have a wonderful weekend

Delicious Recipes Book

Good Morning :)

It's looking like it's going to be a busy weekend here in Weston!

We have our annual air days across the weekend with lots of planes and activities going on in town, and of course it's the C4E all day crop and workshops on Sunday too!

Listen out for us on the Breeze radio (107.7) we have been mentioned the last couple of months!

If you would like to join us the details are all HERE.

So it's Friday today and time for a new challenge on the C4E Recipe Challenge blog, this week we would like you to share project with a ...

FABULOUS FOOD

theme or element.

Our lovely sponsors Stamping All Day are kindly offering one randomly selected winner 3 downloads from their collection.

All the challenge details and entry can be found HERE. While you're there check out the fabulous DT inspiration they are a talented bunch of ladies!

My food themed project today is a recipe book for a swap at the C4E crop.

The swap is on going so I've allowed lots of room for some new recipes to try.

The book is slightly bigger than A5 in size to allow for the A5 size pocket pages inside.

I like my covers to be a little larger than the inside pages.

The papers are an old collection from Basic Grey, I've horded these papers for quite some time lol!

I painted the edges of the chipboard covers with White Crackle Paint. then added the papers on top when it was dry.

The cute cutlery and "Recipes" die cuts were from a lovely lady at the C4E crop.

I still need to add some dividers to the book, but can't decide what sections I want yet!

That's all from me today have a wonderful weekend

Special Dad

Good Morning :)

We have a new challenge today on the Crafts 4 Eternity recipe challenge...

a sketch!

I used the sketch for one of the Father's day cards I need for Sunday.

I turned the sketch on it's side so I could fit the die cut bike on comfortably.

The papers are from a My Minds Eye Now and Then 6x6 pad.

I've added a few stamped ink splats to the background using a Bo Bunny stamp and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink pad.

The lovely bike die cut is also My Minds Eye from a die cut pack.

The sentiment is computer generated and attached with a My Minds Eye brad.

All the challenge details and fabulous DT inspiration can be found HERE.

I'm sponsoring this week and offering one randomly selected winner a choice of 3 digital stamps from the C4E collection.

Have a fabulous weekend I hope the sun shines for you!
