... That's what little boys are made of!!!
Hi,
I decided to try something a little different with this weeks C4E challenge. This weeks challenge is to make 'Boy' themed projects!
I have a lot of boys birthdays this month, including my eldest son in 2 weeks! This means that I make a lot of boy themed cards and LO's. When it comes to Birthdays I am a wash of cars, Thomas the tank engine, Pokemon..... not a princess fairy in sight!!!lol
Here are a few of the projects I posted to help get the inspiration flowing....

See you again soon

Hello!
I have been struck by the lurgy!!! Yep, my nose has turned into Niagara Falls, My head is a pumpkin and the cough sounds like a bad car...lol!!! I know it's only a cold, but if the men can have "man flu" why can't we?...lol!! The boys have each got variations of the cold bug, Alix is dripping for England and Mikael has earache, tummy ache, cough....I think someone is trying to get out of swimming lessons...lol!! My theory is if you are well enough to run around shouting you are well enough for school!! It works for me! I was out of action for a couple of days last week, just couldn't concentrate on crafting and computers. I still have an annoying cough but I am clear headed again, i hate being ill, so frustrating!!!
I haven't done any scrapbooking for a while, I do have a number of LO in mind just haven't got to them yet. I have started a digital (hybrid) mini album/brag book of our holiday this year. There's still lots more to do, but I thought I would share some of the pages so far. The pages are free downloads from Digi mom designs and Kim B. Unfortunately I can't find their links, these brag books were downloaded through Digi-free which is a free digital freebie search blog.

The plan is to keep a digital version and to make a paper version too, we shall see, Christmas is around the corner and it gets busy in this house with Birthdays, carnivals, bonfire night, Halloween.....the list goes on...lol!!
Thanks for looking today I am off to visit some blogs!!!
Take care

PTW- A stitch in time

Hello

I haven't had time to enter the PTW challenge for a while now. It's a fab challenge blog and has a huge following.

This weeks challenge, "A Stitch in Time", is to use sewing on your card. You may remember that a few weeks ago I made a card for the C4E challenge using hand stitching for the 1st time...well here it is again.

I would have liked to do a better card with stitching, I have the new Bazzill Basics In Stitchz templates in and I am eager to try them out!lol.

Here is the card...

Not really an exciting design but it worked and the stitching was easier than I thought!!

Card Details

Paper: Shabby Princess, Vintage Floral collection (free download)

Printed greeting, thread from stash.

The flower embelli I made using some flower stencils printed from the computer.

I used to do a lot of cross stitch years back and have a stash of threads, now I have found a use for them there will be no stopping me...that is if I can get of the computer long enough to even sit at the craft table...LOL

Don't forget it is Tuesday Tips over at the C4E Blog

...well it will be there when I finish here...lol

Take care

and

Thanks for loooking!!

C4E Sunday Sketch Challenge #4

Hello
I am back again with the C4E Sunday Sketch Challenge. Unfortunately I haven't had time to take part in any challenges myself, I will get back to them later in the month...promise lol
I have been making alot of these 3d embellishments and I wanted a sketch I could use with them. I loved making these cards. They took awhile to complete but I was happy with the finished cards.
Here is this weeks sketch...

Join in with the challenge at the C4E blog

Here are my cards...

This card was made with digi papers. When I first printed them I wasn't too impressed, I didn't think I would use them. The subtle colour and vintage feel worked well with a little distressing and some gold wire. The collection is from Raspberry road and called Faded Memories.

I am a nightmare for lilac and purple these digi papers are from pineapple Plantation called Spring Pansies. The flowers in the collection don't print well but the papers are lovely.

This last card used the stunning papers from My Minds Eye's 29th street collection. The cardstock has a lovely tactile quality to them, good quality and beautiful designs.

In the words of Bugs Bunny...."That's all folks"

Thanks for looking

Take care

hello
hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I am waiting for the arrival of two new family members today! An 8 week old puppy and an 8 week old kitten!! I must be mad...lol I already have 3 cats and a labrador!! I will post pics of them soon.
what have i got to share today?
Well with all the digi kits I have been downloading recently I thought I had better do some actual digi L/O's ...lol so here they are......
This first one is my nephew having a go at rock climbing. He turned 6 yesterday, he was only 5 when he did this and he got so high, made me queasy watching him, so brave for a 5yr old!!
The digi kit is "my daddy-father's day" from "by gods design" I haven't added their link yet, I will update them soon.

This LO is my youngest son Alixander at the park. Alix loves the park he hates to leave it, I often struggle to get him out of the park!!lol.
The lo uses different elements from several kits inc:
aquabling overlay - petitmoineax
fastner-irish heritage - scrapfriends
icy mint mocha alpha - wendy's crafty creations
Thank for looking, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
