Handmade ~ Scrapbook Layout

Good Morning :)
I am back today to share the November feature layout for Crafts 4 Eternity ~ Handmade.
The November kits are available to purchase from the Crafts 4 Eternity store HERE
I really enjoyed working with this kit, I love Prima products!

The layout is a "clean" mixed media layout using fabulous Prima Zella Teal products. I have used the November Page kit and the Add-On kit to complete the layout.

The photo is my DS2 when he was little the blue of his clothes worked really well with the light teal/blue of the kit.

I used a mix of Distress Reinkers to add some light colour to the white cardstock then stamped with Dove FRey Stazon ink and one of the gorgous Prima Zella Teal rose stamps (Add-On kit)
The effect is very gentle and helps to lift the layout.

I created two embellishment clusters using the Prima flowers in the kit and another of the Prima stamps (leaf).

Included in the Ephemera in the kit are some cute stickers, the Sweet Memories banner sticker was the perfect finish to the layers of paper and washi tape behind the photo.

I love journal cards but don't use them often on layouts. The Add-On kit includes a pack of beautiful Journal Notecards, I cut the text off one of the cards to add to the layout as my journaling.
You can just see one of the Puffy Stickers on the corner of the photo they are supper sticky!

There are a few pieces of paper and lots of the Add-On kit left to make a couple more projects :)

Thanks for stopping by have a great weekend!

Autumn Layout

Good Morning :)
I am back today with the October feature layout using the Crafts 4 Eternity October Page kit available HERE.
The kit has lots of beautiful Autumn products from Prima's Amber Moon collection.

I have used the In to the Woods paper as the main background piece leaving a nice white border all around the layout.

I rolled two corners of the main paper and tucked some pattern paper, string and gold thread behind the rolls.

In front of the corner rolls I created pretty flower and leaf clusters using the embellishments included in the kit and the October Add-On Kit.

Prima products are always lovely to work with, they are not only beautiful but the quality is wonderful. The papers are heavy weight and will take anything you throw at them!

I will be back next week with an Autumn card using Prima's Amber Moon collection.
Thanks for stopping by have a great day!

Summer Scrapbook Layout

 Good Morning :)
I have the Crafts 4 Eternity August Page Kit feature layout for you today :)
With the lack of summer sunshine I had to look back for a sunny photo to go with the August Page kit and found this one from 2011.

I don't usually journal on the front of my layouts instead I write lots of detail on the back.
The boys in the photo are my eldest son and nephew, the first day of out holiday to Devon we walked down to the nearest beach, down a very steep cliff path! It didn't take long for DS1 to get completely soaked playing with the waves, he was fully dressed!

To me this is summer, the boys at the beach paddling in the sea with their clothes on lol!

It's a very clean and simple layout for me .... the first version I flicked ink on to it and managed to smudge it so badly that I had to cut it apart and re-stick the pieces on to a fresh piece of cardstock. You would have thought I would know by now, no matter how much dabbing it's not going to get any better just worse lol!

Thanks for stopping by today I hope the sun is shining for you!

Crafts 4 Eternity December Page Kit

Good Morning :)
December sneaked up on us here and with it a new Page kit at Crafts 4 Eternity.
This month's kit is called
The kit features gorgeous papers from Kaisercraft's Holly Jolly collection.

This months feature layout uses very little of the gorgeous 12x12" pattern papers leaving plenty left for another layout or two!

I cut triangles of pattern paper to echo the Christmas tree theme of the kit and used them as the base of the layout forming a "treeline" behind the photo.

The wood veneer Christmas trees in the kit are soooo cute! I added two to my "treeline" with just a touch of gold ink on the edges to make them pop a little.

A third tree was added to the mini Kraft tag (selection included in the kit) and popped the tag on to 3D foam to lift it a little.

After making this layout I have quite a bit of pattern paper left to play with :) I'll need some more embellishment though!
Kits are sent each month and club members get discounts on add-on kits and inspiration in the club gallery.
Have a wonderful weekend, thanks for stopping by

Pose for me!!

Hello!
I Thought I'd share this little layout with you! I started it at the November crop, did a bit more at the December crop and finally finished it last week!! lol!! It has to be the longest I have spent trying to complete a lo!!!
The photos are of me when I was about 2 years old. Mum said she got the camera out, lifted me onto the table and said "pose for me" LOL!! She then said that the table was glass!!!
PP & CS are from the C4E July kit available HERE The flowers are from the October Kit available HERE

I took inspiration from a class from the UKS Wicked cyber crop in November. It was MJM's class called The Lollipop Guild, which you can find
HERE

I did a lot of distressing on this LO and lots of hand stitching too!

I may get round to doing some of the other fab classes from the cyber crop one day! lol! Hopefully they won't take so long to complete! lol!
Thanks for stopping by, take care!

c4e recipe challenge #8

Hello!
Another week has just flown by !! I am sure that someone is pinching my days! lol!! It's time for another c4e recipe challenge. You can see all the details and the gorgeous DT work HERE
I really should have done a Christmas card this week, but had this idea to do a notebook instead, i thought I'd make a few for presents this year.
I raided one of my previous c4e kits for the materials, June kit, early bird. I think I went a bit mad with the glitter glue too!!! lol!!
I cut up a second house die cut to add lots of dimension to the front cover. Not sure how practical it is!! lol!

The flower detail uses more die cuts from the kit, a button and some thread. The curls I made by cutting thin strips off the edge of the PP and wrapping around a pencil.

The glitter isn't as garish IRL, honest! for once the camera picked it up!!
Inside the front cover is a little quote die cut with a simple tree die cut attached with sticky fixers.

The inside back cover....

More die cuts from the kit layered up to create this cute embellishment.

oh dear it really looks like I tipped the glitter glue on it!! It's not that bad really!!!!
The back cover has a book plate for me to write a message, or the name of the person I give it too.

The covers hold some plain copier paper. Everything was bound together with the BIA. Next one I do will have the holes cut before I stick stuff on!! It was a bit tricky getting it in the BIA!!!
Thanks for stopping by
take care
