Hello :)
A little late with today's post I've spent the day cleaning and tackling our back garden!
We decided to redo the back garden last autumn and started taking it apart but then the rain set in and no one fancied wadding about in all the mud lol! There is a loooong way to go but a start was made and I'm pooped!
Over on the Crafts 4 Eternity challenge blog we have a new challenge ....
EASTER
We would like you to share any Easter themed projects with us.
Our lovely sponsors Stamping All Day are offering one randomly selected winner 3 downloads from their fabulous collection!
My project this week is an Art Journal page.
The eggs were cut freehand from some paper which happened to be on my desk.
I stamped the Gesso prepared page with grey Stazon and a lovely vintage french script stamp.
Coloured over with some Dylusions inks.
Stamped again using a butterfly stamp, script stamp and dotty stamp in black Stazon.
Some random Gesso and pink acrylic paint were added on top along with some Gesso through a stencil.
The 'Easter' alphas were treated to a coat of Crackle paint in old paper and tattered rose.
Lastly I used a charcoal pencil, black fine line pen and white pen to add some depth and detail.
I'd like to enter this journal page into the following fabulous challenges :
A Creative Romance - 2W, 3E - (W1 of 2) - Eggcelent Spring
Alphabet Challenge - 2W, 1E, JFF - (W1 of 2) - E for Easter
More fabulous inspiration from the design team and entry to the challenge can be found HERE.
Have a great weekend
