crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #26

Hello again!
Time for another Recipe challenge from Crafts 4 Eternity!! This week we are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments
Hop over to the C4E Blog HERE to see the challenge details and Fabulous Design Team Gallery!
This weeks recipe is to use the sketch, add some brads and reverse something!!! Each of the girls have reversed something different so there are lots of ideas for you!
So what did I reverse?? I did a technique called REVERSE APPLIQUE!!! I love how techniques used in different crafts such as sewing can be used in cardmaking and scrapbooking. I have been looking at how I can use techniques for making sugar paste flowers could be used to make flowers for papercrafts!
So basically you create a window or frame with what should be the top layer as the second or bottom layer, simples as the meerKat says lol!!
To make the butterfly piece I cut a square of CS cut out a butterfly shape using a stencil then placed onto some PP. I hand stitched around the butterfly, added some hand stiched details to the wings and finished with beads and brads.

The Other pieces were created the same way but machine stitched. The PP in these pieces is flocked and oh so stroke-able!! lol!!
Th PP is the new GCD papers called Homespun Chic I mentioned in the previous post, beautiful papers with flocked sheets, glittered and lacquered! Definitely a tactile collection. Also in the collection and sitting in the stock room are brads, buttons, felt flowers, paper clips and transparent shapes from the collection! Yummy!!
Have a lovely Sunday! Thanks for stopping by
