It's purple too! lol!

 

We have a new challenge over on the Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge blog today,
this week we would like to see projects inspired by 

SOCIAL MEDIA

Any project that is inspired by the likes of Twitter, Facebook etc.

I have made a Twitter inspired card this week.

The stamps are from Basic Grey and coloured with Copics and Distress ink.

The DP's are Kaisercraft.

 Finished off with some pretty paper roses and Stickles.

Unlock Your Dreams

 Hello everyone :)

Wow it's been a frantic week here! Mikael has a heap of homework to get done before he returns to school on Tuesday including making an artifact inspired by Dr Banardo's.

I've been flitting between Dr Banardo's, layouts, cards, journals and design work all week!

 My project this week is a work in progress! I have completed the front cover of a new art/junque journal.

I also haven't decided which it is lol!

I had lots of fun with Mists, stamps, washers,paints and allsorts :)

 A Tim Holtz Gear and Spinner...

...canvas flowers, altered key and washers...

...and a few bolts thrown in!

I still have lots to do for this weekends C4E crop and Mikael's homework needs finishing!!

Soul Mates

Hello everyone :)

 Hope you have all had a great week I missed last weeks C4E challenge due to a very important Birthday party! Alix was 6 last week and asked for a Pokemon themed party with his friends. I ended up making 2 birthday cakes, 20 Pikachu hats, goodie bags, decorations and  games. Alix and his friends had a fabulous time but I don't want to see another Pikachu for a very long time lol!

 So on to this weeks challenge, we have two prizes up for grabs from regular sponsors Stamping All Day and The Digi Garden.

As always there is gorgeous inspiration from the DT.

The challenge this week is to use the colour inspiration below.

I dragged out my inks, paints, masks and stamps to create this layout...

 There are diecut canvas flowers, flatback gems, Basic Grey Brads, washers, newspaper, stitching. beads, chipboard flourishes, crackle paint, Thickers Glitter Alphas and probably a few other things I've forgotten, on this page. 

 The couple in the photo are my parents many years ago in the '70's.

Love the striped sofa!!

I found some very old stencils buried in my tool box. Loved the bird stencil !

 I really tried hard not to add pattern paper but it needed some contrast so I tore some strips off the newspaper I was working on!

 The washers got a coat of crackle paint. It didn't crackle too well but I still liked them!

The pretty chandelier stamp was a freebie from Craft Stamper magazine.

Clean & Simple

Hello everyone :)

Hope you are all well :)

I'm busy planning a Pokemon party for Alix next weekend, the invites have been sent, now I need to make decorations and a cake, buy some food and I guess I'd better get some presents too lol!

 I needed a card for my nephews 5th birthday this week, I made my own pattern papers with a home made acetate stencil, some Tim Holtz stamps and Spiced Marmalade Distress ink.

Yo-Yo Birthday

 Hello everyone :)

I have a quick card to share today made for the C4E Recipe challenge.

 This weeks challenge is a colour inspired recipe lots of lovely blues taken from this amazing photo.

 We have 2 prizes up for grabs this week from regular sponsors Stamping All Day and The Digi Garden.

And as always the fabulous C4E DT have filled the gallery with beautiful inspiration!

 My card this week took a little longer than planned as I painted a background for it. I used Distress inks to paint a wooden fence inspired background then photocopied it to use on my card.

My poor Martha Stewart punch is on it's last legs now with all the use it has had! Shame as it is such a pretty punch.

The image is a hAnglar and stAnglar stamp coloured with Copics.

The challenge closes next Friday 20th January at 9am GMT so plenty of time to join us!

Gorjuss Birthday Girl

 Hello everyone :)

This weeks Crafts 4 Eternity recipe challenge is a Sketch challenge.

We have a fabulous prize kindly donated by Bugaboo Designs, 7 digital stamps!

As always there is gorgeous inspiration from the design team.

 I always enjoy making girly projects, with an all boy household it's lovely to have some pretty :)

My card this week was for my niece who celebrated her 11th birthday on New Years day.

I have used a sweet Gorjuss Girl stamp coloured with copics, lots of Stickles and flatback gems.

Probably a little over the top with the pink and girly but it was fun to make!
