C4E R#8 - technique/ theme recipe

 Hello everyone :)
How has your half term been? We have had a busy week with one thing and another, poor Alix has come down with a tummy bug :(
The C4E crop was great fun on Sunday & I went to Stitches trade show on Tuesday which was good :)
Now it's Friday again and time for a new recipe on the C4E challenge blog.
This week we are sponsored by Deedee designs who are offering a fab $10 to spend in their store.
This weeks recipe is a technique recipe and we are asking you to make an easel card. If you have never made an easel card there is a quick tutorial on the C4E Cafe blog. As always the design team have made fabulous examples.

My card was made for Alix's 5th birthday at the beginning of the month.
The image is hAnglar stAnglar coloured with copics.

Not much else to say about this card lol! I did manage to get the third baby card done for Tuesday and was delivered to the new Great Grandaddy who was happy to share the latest photo's of baby Nathanael.

Have a great weekend
Hugs

C4E Recipe Challenge #7 - Embellishment Recipe

Hello everyone :)
Where has this week gone? I've been a day ahead all week lol! The boys start half term today so it feels like a Saturday lol! But it's Friday and time for a new recipe on the Crafts 4 Eternity blog.
This week we have a fabulous prize from Crafty Sentiments up for grabs and of course the super talented DT gallery!
I didn't plan to make a card this week, I started another project but ran out of time to do it properly! I have a box full of unfinished projects lol!

The recipe this week is to include hearts, glitter and pins on your project. Like I need an excuse to use glitter lol!

I'm cropping this weekend :) as always I am soooooo behind lol! I've got some gorgeous new papers for the kits from the My Minds Eye Stella and Rose collection.
I'm off to take the boys into town to spend some of their Christmas vouchers!
Have Fun!

C4E Recipe Challenge #6 - Colour Recipe

Hello everyone:)
I hope you are all well :) I's sorry for not getting round to visit blogs recently it's been a manic week here with birthday parties, computer viruses, broken shoes and all sorts lol!
We have a new recipe for you over on the C4E challenge blog this week is a colour recipe and we would like you to take inspiration from this yummy photo!

mmmmmm! love cupcakes!
My card this week is very simple as it's for hubby. He's not in to lots of fussy stuff on cards lol!

I printed some word art onto Bazzill Kraft cardstock added pink and brown cardstock, sewing, ribbon, charm and rose and I couldn't resist finishing it off with some Stickles although I think it probably would have been better without lol!
I've added lots of products to the sale section of the C4E website this week and there is 25% off selected signature kits too!
Have a great weekend!

It's been another busy week here it was my youngest son Alix's birthday on Wednesday. Bless him he said he had an "awesome" birthday and it was the best birthday ever! He's 5! lol! I have my party planner head on at the moment so if it isn't Ben 10 themed I'm struggling lol!
We had a fantastic response to last weeks challenge! I guess Polka Dots are popular lol!
This week at the C4E Recipe Challenge we have a sketch for you to follow, the prize is 3 digital stamps from my store.
The  super talented DT girls have created some beautiful examples using the sketch.

This is the card that was sulking last week, I'm seeing a pattern emerging here, not sure that is a good thing lol! I don't think it is entirely over it's issues to be honest? ;)

C4E Recipe Challenge #4 - Polka Dots!

Hello everyone :)
I've been seeing spots for  few days with this weeks C4E Recipe lol!
This weeks recipe is a theme recipe and we are asking you to use Polka Dots. The Design Team have rustled up some stunning examples for the gallery and the prize is a selection of 25 stamped images.
Again this week my cards have been sulking! This card is the second attempt, I've left the first to sulk on his own maybe in a few days he'll be in the mood to cooperate lol!

My cousins daughter gave birth to her first child yesterday, Congratulations Gemma! This card and 2 others yet to be made will be winging their way up to sunny Birmingham soon :)
I have used this weeks sketch from Friday Sketches (#139)
I went dotty with the image this week too! Love this dotty background by Chrissy. The photo doesn't show the Stickles very well :( all his spots, mane, feet and tie are glittered......and everywhere else on the card lol!

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by :)
