C4E recipe challenge - Pea Soup

 Hello everyone :)
Sorry to have been missing so long It's been a bit hectic here with one thing and another. I won't bore you with details lol!
This weeks recipe challenge has been posted on the C4E blog and is our last challenge of 2010! The challenge will run until the 7th January so plenty of time to get your entries in.
As always there is a fabulous DT gallery and prize up for grabs.
Of course I am a little late with my card lol!
Lots of twinkles on this card (as usual!) and my poinsettia which has been stamped with Ranger Dabbers and attacked with Stickles!
The image is from LOTV coloured with Distress inks and Stickles.
Sorry about the poor photo's I can't seem to get them right at the moment.
We have a lot of snow here in Weston which is unusual for us! My car has been stuck since Friday and DH's journey to work in Bristol has been a little fraught! The boys think it's great lol!
This is the card I should have posted last week! Oh well lol! I did get it on the C4E blog just didn't get to blog about it. I also didn't share the crop layout and class!
I may catch up one day lol! If I don't make it back this week I will wish you all a
MERRY CHRISTMAS
&
 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Thank-you for all your lovely comments this year have a fabulous Christmas!

R#61 - **Twinkling Stars **

 Hello everyone :)
So glad it's Friday lol! It's been a hectic week :) It started snowing here this afternoon, the boys have been so excited so far we just have a light dusting but it's very cold Brrrrrrr!
This week recipe has been posted and we are asking you to follow the sketch and include some stars on your project. There are some beautiful examples from the design team and a chance to win some C4E digi's!
Scoot over to the C4E blog to check it all out :)
I dug out an old stamp for my card this week which was quick to colour with the Copics and some gold stickles.
I've seen a few diecut poinsettia's about recently which are gorgeous! I don't have a poinsettia die or punch so I got my pencil out and created a quick digi poinsettia. I printed it onto the reverse side of some textured white cardstock, cut them out, pinched and inked the petals and hey presto poinsettia flowers in any size or colour I like :)
I have a couple of mini books to get on with so I shall leave you with the recipe for this card and wish you a fab weekend!
Thanks for stopping by

R#59 - I believe in Santa!

 Hello :)
Oh dear I really am getting late with these posts!
This is my card for the C4E Recipe challenge. Hop over to see HERE the recipe and gorgeous DT Gallery!
This was one of those cards that seemed to go on forever lol! It was started in plenty of time for the deadline but as always time just ran out so it was finished at the C4E crop on Sunday.
There is a lot of inking, distressing, crackle paint and glitter, probably too much lol! I made the button from chipboard and PP and finished off with a ribbon bow and pin.
you can grab the PP's from the C4E store HERE
There is still time to enter the challenge we love to see your creations!
Have fun!

Birthday cards for Mikael

 Hello :)
I have 2 cards I made for Mikael's (DS1) birthday last month. I think I still have last months crop LO's to post too lol! I'd better check back :)
The first card uses another of Sleike's cute images coloured with Copics.
The DP's are Basic grey and the sentiment is from Crafty Sentiments.
This card was for Alix to give to his big brother when it came to writing it he needed a little help (he's 4 :)) so pen in hand we try to write but he is getting stressed. It wasn't until I saw him pick up a pencil later that I realised he had been trying to write with his right hand when he is left handed!! Whoops!!
The second card is another easel card. I used some K&co DP's and lots of stickles.
The image is from Lily of the Valley and coloured with Copics. There's a bit of a shadow across the bottom right of the photo, it wasn't coloured so dark! Must replace the daylight bulb in the lamp. I noticed when I looked on Ebay for some bulbs the other day, that they now do all sorts of daylight bulbs so I was thinking of replacing all the bulbs in my craft room. Should help to keep me up later to get more done! lol!
3 sleeps till the C4E crop!! YAY! A day of crafty fun with lovely ladies perfect!
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

30th Birthday Easel Card

 Hello :)
I have a quick easel card to share today :) I made this card a couple of weeks ago for my best friends 30th birthday which she received late of course lol!
The image is a Hangler and StAngler image a lovely friend shared with me. Coloured with Copics and a touch of stickles.
The DP's are Kaisercraft and where already glittered so I just added some extra Stickles around the edges.
