glitz n glamour girlz ATC swop

Good morning!!
Today is our second wedding anniversary!!! Can't believe it was 2 years ago! and I'm still trying to scrap all the photo's!! LOL!!!
During the summer Holidays my UKS team mate Purple organised a little team ATC swap for us. She gave us the theme of Summer! I couldn't resist the Summer Soiree cards for this project! you can get your mitts on them HERE!! I started making these ATC's and was loving how they were turning out so I had to make a set to keep too!! It meant It took longer to finish but worth it!!
There are 6 ATC's in this series and here they are!!!
I cut out the Surfin text from one of the cards to add on to this one. Plenty of glitter glue added too!!!
I cut a second Kite to add on to Let's sail away to lift it off the ATC. The text away was fiddly to cut out but worked well.
Probably the longest one of the set to make with the hand stitching!!!

I wanted to include some of the fab quotes on the cards too, a bit of cutting and re-arranging to fit the ATC and of course glitter glue!! LOL!!!
The boat on this ATC came from a very old HOTP scrapbook book!! The waves at the bottom were cut from a second card and added on top of the boat.

I have added a flower to the bottom of this one using one of my favourite stencils I made by printing a digi flower image!!
Just have to wait now for the swaps!! lol!!!
Lots of twinkle for these ATC's, I really have loved using the Fancy pants Summer Soiree collection!!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by

september crop class

Good morning!!
Finally I am back with the September crop class project! There are lots of photos in this post so I will keep my waffle to a minimum!! lol!
The class I taught at the September crop was this lovely Matchbook album. I have used MME papers which are double sided and more like card than paper. The collection can still be bought HERE I am hoping to put the kit together and add it to the website just as soon as I have time.
We made a cover from a sheet of Bazzill CS, scoring and folding to make the album. The pages were cut from the PP and secured with a length of fluffy fibre. I added a little bead dangly to the spine, a feather, pearl branch and homemade a flower to the front of the album. I used a selection of the MME diecuts for the pages. Available HERE. The album is about my beautiful bridesmaids and includes posed photos and arty shots I took during the day.
Enough waffle here are the pages!!!!.........

All the photos were changed to B&W using PSP so that they would all match the PP.
To finish the album I added lots of glitter glue everywhere!! Glitter glue was used to make the garlands twinkle at the wedding!!
Thanks for stopping by have a great day!

C4E sketch #51

Good Morning!
Sunday has arrived and with it another C4E sketch challenge! Next week will see a new look challenge with more regular prizes!!! Must get on with the new tags and blog header!! lol!!
It's been a busy week here, I have been sorting out the October kit! yummy!! it has MME, Prima, American crafts, Bazzill....lots of yummy!! I have also been sorting the October crop kit and class, spooky Halloween theme for the October crop! Can't believe how quickly it comes around!!
This week we are just asking you to use the sketch for your projects, check out the sketch HERE
and you really should see the gorgeous DT cards this week.......Stunning work!!! so if you didn't catch that link try HERE!!!! LOL!!!
My card this week uses some gorgeous K&co papers from the classic Mckenna 6x6 pad.
For the centre square I cut slots into the back PP and slide the corners in.

The image is the strawberry flower fairy stamp, painted with watercolour paints and glitter glue. I used a circle template to cut it out and mounted onto a scalloped circle cut using nesties and cuttlebug.

The ribbon, lace and flowers are from my stash. The Butterfly I made by stamping with an Autumn Leaves clear stamp onto PP, cut out, inked and curled the wings under a little. Before attaching to the card I added some gold stems as antenna.

To finish I pretty much tipped the glitter glue over the card!! lol!! Love my glitter glue!! Lol!!
I'm off to Clarks Village in Street for a bit of shopping!! Have a lovely Sunday!
Thanks for stopping by

PTW challenge

Afternoon everyone!
We have lovely sunshine here today!! Shame I have only just noticed!! lol!! I've been using the tumble dryer all day! should have hung it out! oh well!
I needed another birthday card for my nan this week and managed to make it using a fab sketch over a PTW!!! You have until Tuesday to complete this challenge so there is still time to join in HERE well worth a visit just to see the stunning DT work!!
I have used a PP from a K&co pad called La Boutique, beautiful delicate papers! Mixed with a PP from Basic Grey's Boxer collection.

The lovely Tilda is coloured with watercolour paints and a touch of glitter glue.
For the flowers I cut out some base flowers using a stencil I made from a digi flower and attached cream roses. I brushed a blue inkpad over the petal tips to match them to the card. The leaves are punched with the MS punch I use so much! lol!!
To finish I have glitter glued the PP and flowers.
Thanks for stopping by have a fab Saturday!!

carpark picnic

Good morning!!
This LO was done for a UK scrappers weekly challenge a couple of weeks ago.
One of the criteria was a photo of eating outside. These photos were taken in May on a day trip to Lyme Regis. We didn't arrive at Lyme Regis until lunchtime so to save carrying the huge picnic we ate in the field that is the car park of the park and ride! The kids all had their own lunch boxes but left those for the adult picnic!! Oh well!!! lol!!!

I used Fancy Pants Summer soiree PP and ribbon for the LO, from the C4E August kit HERE, and gems from stash. The date tag I made myself on the computer using UKS font of the week.

Glitter or bling was another requirement of the challenge, I used both gems and glitter glue which gives the LO a real sparkly summer feel.

The title I made on the computer using the FOTW again. I have attached it to the LO using sticky fixers to lift it off the page a little.

Finally I did a little doodling to finish off the LO. I have got a few LO's now from this day trip and a mini book too, did I share that on??? I'll have to check back lol!!
Still more to catching up to come so I will be back!! lol!!
thanks for stopping by have a great day!

C4E September crop

Good morning!
I thought I would share some pics from the September crop!!
The photo above is of some of the lovely ladies who join me each month to scrap, chat and giggle!! I love how well we all get on and how supportive everyone is of each other. Some of the ladies have been scrapping for years some for just a few months! Everyone has a play with the kit I supply, in the morning and in the afternoon I teach a class (Pics of that another time!!)
It is lovely to see the LO's completed the following month we chat so much sometimes that we don't get out LO's finished!! lol!! This LO is Anne's August kit LO. I love the photos of her cats and the little paw prints are a lovely touch!
It is interesting to see how my LO and sketch can inspire such different LO's!!
This months LO was called Sweet Pea and used the gorgeous Cosmo cricket storytime papers, diecuts and journal cards.
Simone followed the sketch quite closely to produce this finished LO. Everyone was impressed with her beautiful handwriting and lovely words!

Melissa started a 6x6 album to document her son's life so far! Each page is double-side. She used the sketch for one of the pages, I can't wait to see the finished album!!

Margaret's LO of her beautiful granddaughters had some gorgeous brads from her stash!!

Jo's beautiful LO of her granddaughter used some additional PP and gorgeous flower embellishments.

Anne used the kit to start this great LO of one of her many trips! She used the circle elements of the sketch as her basis for the LO and plans to complete it.
It is great to see how the LO's change when the ladies get home to all their stash!!
If you would like to join us we meet 1 Sunday a month at Banwell Village hall, Somerset.
We next meet Sunday 18th October, just give me a shout and I'll reserve your spot and cake!!
Thanks for stopping by have a great day!
