Hello :)
Today we have a new challenge on the Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge blog
all the challenge details, entry and fabulous DT inspiration can be found HERE.
My project this week is a layout using the August Page kit Northam Burrows.
The kit will be available on the website soon, I have not added it yet as I am having a new site this month :)
The photos of my youngest son Alix playing with bubbles in our back garden.
The background was created with ink splatters and stamping with a date stamp and arrow stamp.
The die cut chipboard honeycomb was painted with Fire Red Maya Gold paint, you can just about see the hint of silver in it which gives it a lovely sparkle.
I added stickers from the sticker sheet included in the kit. One kit plus an extra die cut has made 2 layouts so far!
I used the same sketch from the kit layout and added a cluster at the bottom right corner using, pattern paper, a sticker, chipboard, cotton thread, stamping and paint splatters.
There is still more papers and stickers left so I may get another layout from it or it may end up decorating my planner!
I love it when a kit can be stretched :)
How many projects can you get from a single page kit?
Thanks for stopping by have a great weekend

Michele. I saw this LO on FB and had to come over to find out more. Will you have this kit with you @ the retreat next month?
ReplyDeleteI don't have a BigShot or Cuttlebug so having die cuts in kits is always a big plus for me.
See you soon,
Maggie
I will put one by for you Maggie :) Thanks for the lovely comment x
