A Stitch in Time

 Hello everyone  :)
Well I don't know where this heat wave is lol ! It's certainly not here in my little corner of the UK today!
I have a new layout to share today  :)
This layout is for this months page kit available HERE
and features beautiful My Minds Eye papers from the Lost and Found 2 Collection.
The layout documents the story of how both my mum and I were bought our first sewing machines by our Grandads. History repeating itself.
I have written the story on the back of the layout.
I have used a mixture of American Crafts Glitter Thickers and Crate Paper Toybox Alphas for my title.
The chipboard diecut cotton reel and canvas diecut dress form are both in the kit. I have used Distress ink to colour them and over stamped on to the dress form for some added detail.
I made a selection of flags and even used the little sample strips from the branding strip on the bottom of the paper !!
The "A Stitch in Time " kit and these gorgeous papers are all available from the C4E Store now.
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

Bake Them!

 Hello everyone :)
This months C4E Mojo sketch has been posted today with a freebie too!!
If like me you love sketches hop over to the C4E Cafe blog!

I used the sketch to create this layout of my youngest son, Alix making cornflake cakes. Alix was telling me each step we needed to do, including the most important step of licking the spoon lol!

When the mixture had been put into the cake tins I asked Alix what we had to do next, he said " bake them"

There will be a tutorial for this flower on the C4E Cafe blog tomorrow.
There are still a few of these page kits available from the C4E store. They include the gorgeous Crate Paper papers which you can also find in the C4E store.
Have a fab day

C4E R#35 - Sketch

 Good Morning!
Yep I'm here with my Challenge post on time *shock*!! lol!

This weeks C4E Recipe challenge is a sketch
We have 2 fabulous prizes up for grabs this week and as always there is inspiration from the talented design team.
I am in desperate need of Christmas cards! I have 2 now lol! Probably need 100 more! This week I have made a more traditional style card, I need a few more traditional cards for older family members.
I am happier with less traditional colours and I think it shows :(
The DP's are from HOTP a free paper stack in Simply cards and Papercrafts where........
you can find a giveaway from me! I am giving away sets of Digital stamps in a number of magazines this month so watch out for me :)
The Poinsettia has been made with a digi template I created last Christmas and never got released, hopefully this will be available soon from the C4E Store.
The flat back gems were added individually as I've run out of the lovely Prima crystals :(
To join in with the challenge and see the fabulous DT gallery hop over HERE
Have a great day whatever you are up to.
Thanks for stopping by!
