No Pattern Paper Mixed Media Card

Good Morning :)
The new C4E Recipe Challenge was posted today HERE and I am back today to share my DT project with you :)
This week we would like you to share projects which have NO PATTERN PAPER!
We have a fab prize up for grabs kindly donated by Di's Digi Downloads and lots of gorgeous inspiration from the design team.

This week I made a cute 3" square mixed media card using my favourite colour!

I used a selection of Tom Holtz stamps, Dylusions Inks and Modelling Paste.

The Modelling Paste was brushed with a little Perfect Pearls powder to give it some extra shimmer.

To finish I sprinkled some white gesso and silver Maya Gold paint over the whole piece.
You have until Midnight Thursday 5th February to enter and you can enter up to 3 different projects plenty of time to get the paints out ;)
It's the C4E crop and workshops next Sunday (08-02-15) so I have a busy week ahead getting ready for that!
But before that I have a special little boys 9th birthday to sort out! My youngest, Alix will be 9 on Monday and I still have to make his cards, wrap his presents and make a non-cake-birthday cake! Bless him he doesn't like sponge cake so I have had to come up with a different idea for his birthday cake, he had to have something to put a candle in lol! Fingers crossed it goes to plan!
Have a wonderful day thanks for stopping by!

Right on to my project for this week :)
Each year I get later and later making this calendar for my uncle, even though he starts reminding me in the summer LOL!

So far the calendar pages have been printed (available here) and the front cover is done.
He may get it before the year ends lol!

I taught a workshop at the weekend and this was one of my demo pieces.
The instruction Ebook will be available to buy from Crafts 4 Eternity soon.

There is lots of texture using beads, gems and cress seeds!

The piece was painted with Dylusions inks and Maya gold paints.

So now all I have do is finish it!
I hope you will join us this week we love to see all the different projects!

Mixed Media Reflection Card

Good Morning from Sunny Somerset!
Today we have a new challenge on the Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge blog :)

REFLECTION

We would like you to share projects which include some kind of reflective material such as mirrors, sequins, miri card or metal.
Our lovely sponsors this week are Sassy Studio Designs who are offering a fab prize for one randomly selected winner!
And of course there is gorgeous DT inspiration to see too!
Hop over HERE to see the details and enter.

You need to look closely to see my reflective material and I did manage to get paint on them too lol!

Sorry about the slight blur on the pics I had the shakes?!

So for may card I chose to add two little mirror tiles. The pack had round, square and heart shape ones, I used the round ones and tucked them into the flower cluster.

A threw some paint at the card and sprayed it with Perfect Pearls mists too!

That's all from me today I still have lots to do for this weekends Crafts 4 Eternity crop and workshop!
Have a great weekend thanks for stopping by

Mixed Media Thank-you cards

Good Morning :)
After our Christmas break we are back today with a fresh challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity :)
This weeks challenge details can be found HERE along with gorgeous DT inspiration and entry.

The challenge this week is BLUE TONES and for my DT project I made two mixed media thank-you cards.

Both cards were made in the same way, I stamped on to a piece of white cardstock using black Stazon ink and some lovely Tim Holtz stamps.

I then coloured them using Dylusions inks.

When they were dry I added a Modelling paste mix through a stencil, then sprinkled a little glitter on before it dried.

I hope you will be able to join us this week and don't forget we have a DT call on at the moment too :)
Have a fabulous weekend
Thanks for stopping by
