Anything Goes at Crafts 4 Eternity!

Hello :)
I have my DT project to share with you today for this weeks Crafts 4 Eternity challenge.
The challenge this week is.....
Anything Goes!
We would like you to share any project you create this week, boxes, cards, pink, green, paper, fabric......
ANYTHING!
It's my turn to sponsor the challenge this week, one randomly selected winner will receive a choice of 3 digital stamps from the C4E collection.
So when I get the opportunity to make anything what do I make?

...a card!!! lol!
I don't make as many cards as I used to, I do a lot of layouts, a fair amount of art journaling (must get round to sharing some of those!) and a lot of projects for classes which don't seem to get completed lol!

The sweet image is a LOTV stamp coloured with Distress inks (and Stickles!)
The DP's are Kaiserkraft. I've painted all the edges with white crackle paint then add a little Vintage photo Distress ink and Stickles when it was dry.

Flowers  are from my stash, a magazine freebie I think! The branch is the Tim Holtz Holly Branch die, coloured with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress inks.

The challenge is open until Midnight (GMT) Thursday 1st August and you can enter up to 3 different projects.
Hop over HERE to enter the challenge and see all of the gorgeous DT creations!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend

Inky Fingers Layout

Good morning :)
Last day of term for my boys today!
And the last day of Primary school for my eldest, he moves on to secondary school in September.
My youngest finishes Key stage one today & moves into Key stage two in September.
They grow up so fast!
I have a lot of plans for the summer catching up with projects both craft and home ones. I'll squeeze in a few gymnastic and craft classes and maybe an odd day out with the family too lol!

We have a new challenge this morning on the C4E recipe challenge blog.

INKY FINGERS!

We would like you to share projects that use any kind of paint or ink.
This has to be one of my favourite mediums to work with and I have been painting and inking a lot recently!

My project this week is an un-named layout I did for a C4E workshop recently.
I have used Dylusions Ink sprays and stamped with Stazon ink over a Gesso background of cardstock shaped.
The cardstock shapes gave the background lots of depth and interest.

The little girl in the photo is my niece at my wedding nearly 6 years ago, so she's grown a lot since then lol!
I have a second layout to complete to make this a double spread of my two nieces who were flower girls.

I didn't use much paper or embellishments for the layout. There are some inked flowers, painted chipboard flourish, crepe bandage, tracing paper, 1 piece of DP, wood veneer leaves and some flat back gems.

I love Dylusions ink sprays! You can have the really bright colours or tone them down to make pastel shades. I did a quick video tutorial for making the pastel shades with Dylusions very bright colours you can see it HERE.

Right best get on with preparations for this weekends workshops, we are bookbinding and making flowers this month! If you would like to join us contact me at crafts4eternity@aol.co.uk.

All that remains is to invite you to join us HERE for this weeks challenge.
Have a great day thanks for stopping by

Special day tri-fold aperture card

 Hello everyone :)
I'm running late with everything this week! Way too many pots on the boil lol!
This weeks C4E Recipe challenge is a colour recipe.

We would like you to share projects that use any combination of the colours in the image.
Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments Designs who are offering one randomly selected winner a choice of 3 digital stamps from their collection.

My card this week is a class I taught last month, a Tri-fold aperture card.
I've used gorgeous Bo Bunny Mama-Razzi papers which were left over from THIS kit.

The card has two apertures the inside one is smaller than the front one.

It is a small card only 4 inches, but it took a while to get all the cutting and embellishments right.

The sentiment is a Bo Bunny stamp. All the edges of the card and papers were inked and Stickled.

The little wood veneer camera is from Studio Calico and the acetate film strip was in the Captured Moments Page kit.

Hop over HERE to play along and take a look at the gorgeous DT creations!
Have a lovely sunny weekend thanks for stopping by!

Sewing Room

Good morning :)
Thank-you for the lovely comments :)
Have you had a sunshine this week? We have struggled a bit so I'm hoping for a nice sunny day today lol!

This weeks C4E Recipe challenge is called Sewing Room. We would like you to share sewing themed projects with either a sewing theme or some kind of sewing embellishment or stitching on.
Our lovely sponsor this week is Stamping all day who are offering one randomly selected winner a choice of 3 downloads.

My card this week has the cute Taylor of Gloucester Mouse on it :)
The DP's are from my stash, they were single sided so I stamped and inked the back of the top piece so I could roll it up a little.

The image has been coloured with Distress Inks, H2O's and Stickles.
The edges were distress and I have added a little script stamping too.

The card turned out quite dimensional in the end with the paper roll and torn edges.
The top edge is a Tim Holtz edge die.

To continue the sewing theme I added a Tim Holtz die cut bobbin, thread and a button.

If you hop over HERE you can see the Gorgeous DT inspiration and enter this weeks challenge :)

I am also entering the following fab challenges :
 Scrappers' Delights - 2W, SIO - diecuts/punches
Paper Take Weekly - Anything Goes
Challenges for everybody - #23 Anything goes

Thanks for stopping by have a sunny day!
