HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!!

It's my lovely mum's birthday today, technically not as she is a leap year baby, but she celebrates her birthday on the 28th.

Today is also Crafts 4 Eternity recipe challenge day!! Hop over to the blog HERE to see the stunning DT gallery and the recipe. This week we have a digi stamp up for grabs! This cute little guy is called Roddy Robot. Roddy was designed for my youngest son, Alix who named him!

Here's my card this week....

I was inspired by fellow DT member Keeley's card HERE last week and added 2 strings of beads to the card. The lovely Tilda is coloured with distress inks. I forgot to finish off her necklace and bracelet before taking my photo (whoops!)

PP's are Basic grey Eskimo Kisses & MME Pretty Please (free with magazine)


The circle behind Tilda is fabric glued onto cardstock and cut with a scalloped nestie.
I've been playing about with flowers this week! These flowers are made from fabric glued onto cardstock, PP and paper roses.

Lastly I made a matching handbag charm for mum! It is a mixture of recycled handbag charms and beads from my stash.

Thank-you's & a card

Hello!

Well the last few days have been eventful! lol! the crop on Sunday was great fun! Saturday my boiler broke and couldn't be fixed until Tuesday! We had no hot water or heating for 3 days! Monday I went to Birmingham for the stitches trade show, the car broke down! took us 5 hours to get home and we were freezing! I spent Tuesday getting this all fixed and sorted. But All done now, we are warm and mobile again lol!

I couldn't resit inking up these gorgeous stamps and as I had missed the crafts 4 eternity challenge a couple of weeks ago I used the sketch from that to make this card.

The PP are basic grey, CS is Bazzill. The image I coloured with distress inks. I added some glitter to the heart in the girls hand and for once no glitter glue!!! LOL!!

Hopefully I will be back before Sunday's Crafts 4 eternity challenge with 2 LO's and a little gift box from the crafts 4 eternity crop!

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #21

Hello!

Well another week has flown by again! Time for another Crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge. The DT girls have made you some beautiful inspiration again this week! Hop over to the c4e challenge blog HERE to see their beautiful work and the challenge details .

Here is my DT card!!

The PP is some VERY old DCWV paper from a value pack, I found this paper lurking in my stash lol!! I coloured some of the flowers on the PP with distress inks and it has been attacked with the glitter glue too! lol!!

Tilda is from the Magnolia club winter collection and is coloured with distress inks and H2o's. She has a lovely twinkle in real life.

The flowers I made by cutting five flower shapes from crepe paper. Lightly coloured the tips of the petals with distress inks. 4 flowers were folded and glued onto a small circle of card. The 5th flower was scrunched a little and added to the centre. Finished off with a few black seed beads.

As usual the glitter glue fell off the shelf and attacked the card!! It really wasn't me LOL! it has a life of it's own! lol!!

That's it from me for today I am at the Crafts 4 eternity crop today and tomorrow I'm off to the NEC for the Stitches show! Lot's of yumminess awaits!! lol!

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #20

Hello!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

I don't have a Valentine card to share today!! lol!! I have a birthday card, made for Alix's birthday on the 2nd February. It is also my DT card for this weeks crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge! This month we have a fabulous GDT Sandra who has done a card & layout for you! One of the new Dt girls started this week and of course the familiar faces of Pinky, Andie & Suzette have made you some fabulous inspiration! Want to see what all the fuss is about? lol! As you can see my blog still needs attention lol! but I am getting more organized in other areas!!

So please excuse the mess! lol!!

I drew a little robot for Alix, who he has called Roddy, I need to check that isn't the name of a robot from a kids programme before he is released lol!!

I have coloured the little robot with distress ink and added some glossy accents to his nose, belt button and antenna things?? lol!

The cogs I drew onto chipboard and covered with PP. Added a circle of felt and a washer.

Busy week this week lots of jobs to get done and hopefully lots of crafting! The kids are on half term too so maybe we will all go out if the weather stays dry!
