Sweet Pea

Good Morning!
Nearly there this LO is the September crop LO. Crop kits are available HERE for around £3 each. You get 2 sheets each of Pattern paper and Bazzill CS, some co-ordinating embellishments and instructions to make a LO. There is usually plenty left over to make another LO or card.
The photo I have used on this LO is of my mum in a tree in her parents garden. It was funny because she was always telling us off for climbing trees in dresses!!! LOL! I haven't done the journaling yet as I want to check the details with her before I write it.
The PP is Cosmo Cricket Storytime, I have done a lot with this collection! The journal card and title strip are in the kit. I have used a couple of extra embellishments from the die cut sheet, a few are still available HERE and the journal cards are available HERE

The border at the bottom was layered up onto a piece of CS and attached as a whole piece.

I have used a some extra diecuts from the storytime diecut sheet for embellishment, and buttons from my stash.

The circle embellishment was made by punching 3 different size circles from the PP, crumpling and sanding the edges and layering onto the LO, finished off with a button and diecut flourish.
Next months crop kit will be a Halloween kit!!! Spooky!! lol!! I will be back tomorrow with some pics from the September crop!
Thanks for stopping by have a great day!

c4e september 321 challenge

Good Morning!
Well I am still catching up here! lol! a few more to go and it will be time to start posting the C4E October challenge makes! lol!!
This months 321 challenges asks for
3 - embellishments
2 - pattern papers
1 - torn edge
The Challenge details can be found HERE!!!
It's a bit hard to see my torn edge, it's behind the image, but it is there promise!! lol! I have counted the 21 tag, flower and the flower sequin in the gorjuss girls hair as my 3 embellishments. The 2 PP are 2 beautiful Basic grey sugared papers.

I have coloured the gorjuss girl image with water colour paints. After I took the photos I noticed the gem had slid off the sequin!! That will teach me to rush!! lol!! Anyway that was fixed before it was sent to my cousin's daughter last week.
I cut out the image with my cuttlebug and nesties labels 3
Must get some more! The new releases are gorgeous!!!
Well that's another one done!
Thanks for stopping by have a great day!

c4e September ABC challenge

Hello just a quick catch up post to share this challenge ATC with you.
The C4E September challenges are now uploaded to the website, actually they were done the first week of September but I am behind!!! On a good note I have completed the ABC ATC set!! YAY!!! but you only get to see one a month!! lol!!
This month is the letter H you can make any project featuring something beginning with the letter H or as I have done the actual letter.
I have used the WRM monograms available HERE I have inked the letter with a whispers brown inkpad, matt onto Barkley Bazzill CS. The little buttons are from my stash.
For the background I stamped using THIS stamp ( hampton arts ATC 2) onto some WRM urban window PP which is available HERE I have given it a watercolour wash of brown to distress it a little and inked the edges.

The butterfly is an Autumn Leaves, Rhonna Farrer stamp. I have stamped onto some of the WRM PP cut out, inked and curled the wings. It was attached with double sided tape to keep it quite flat, and finished with a knotted ribbon.
Phew!! There was a lot to this little piece of art!! LOL!!!
Time to get some work done I think! Do check out the challenges on the C4E website there are prizes up for grabs too!!!
thanks for stopping by have a good Monday!

C4E sketch #50

Yay!! Not late this week!!! lol!! wow what a mad week it has been!! What with sorting out my car after someone drove into the back of it 2 weeks ago, sorting out next months kit, catching up with everything, it's been busy!! Still not caught up with everything there is a ton of stuff to add to the C4E website, I am changing the weekly sketch challenge next month so there is still a lot to sort out with that...and a mountain of other stuff!!! lol!!! I am like Eeyore looking for his tail!! lol!!

This week on the C4E challenge blog we are looking for projects using the sketch and the colour combo ORANGE & BROWN. Check out the challenge and stunning DT cards HERE!!!

The PP I have used are from the July Kit Saffron Dawn, they are K&co wild Saffron papers and I just love them!! There are a few kits still available HERE

The individual papers are one of the products waiting to be added to the site!! If I don't use them all up 1st!! LOL!!

I have cut the corners with a circle punch and hand sewn a border in back stitch with tow different colours of Aida thread. The lace is from stash and the brown velvet, very stroke able, ribbon is from the July kit. Bazill CS pinecone and cheddar. The flowers are left over from the July crop kit LO, which are stamped, cut out, pinched and inked. The leaves are punched with the MS punch Fond branch.

The Gorjuss girl is coloured with watercolour paints and mounted on sticky fixers to make her pop! The chicken I cut away from the image and added to the little ribbon slide I made from CS.
I have slightly sanded the edges all over to soften the look.

I will be back tomorrow with some catching up stuff! Have a lovely Sunday!!
thanks for stopping by!

c4e sketch #49

Sorry to be late posting this challenge card, I lost my Internet connection last Thursday. I was back online Tuesday but it's been hectic catching up with everything that I have missed just being offline for those few days! I had to borrow my mum's Internet to do the challenge post but didn't have time to do mine.
Anyway better late than never here is my card for last Sunday's C4E sketch challenge. The DT girls did an amazing job with the sketch too hop over to the C4E blog to see their gorgeous cards!
My card was made for a gentleman's birthday last month so I kept it very clean and simple. It is so easy to add lots of pretty embellishments to my cards, but it's nice to do something different.

The PP are from an old stash of HOTP papers, the ribbon is from stash and the image is one of my digi images, Gotch Ya! available HERE

I have coloured the frog with watercolour paints, no glitter!!! lol!
I'd better hop off and get all the other posts written that I have missed!!
don't forget to check out the C4E blog tomorrow where there will be another great sketch and gorgeous DT cards!!
thanks for stopping by have a great day!

c4e sketch #48 - mice!!

It's Sunday and time for a new sketch over at the C4E blog! This week we are asking you to include mice on your cards and projects. Hop over to the blog HERE to see the challenge and gorgeous DT cards!!
I tried something a little different with this weeks card. I have been doing a lot of torn edges on my layouts, with photos under torn PP and I thought I'd try the same technique with a card or 2!!
The PP is from the c4e July kit, Saffron Dawn HERE. They are K&co papers and gorgeous to work with. The image is The Tailor of Gloucester, Beatrice Potter stamp.
I have coloured the image with water colour paints and H2o's for a hint of twinkle!! The image is behind the PP rather than layered on top, you don't get the dimension you do with a card that is layered up, but it still has a nice effect, and looks much better in real life!! LOL!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Sunday!!
