Sketch & Stash Challenge #53 (sulky card!)

Hello again :)

Well the sulky card from last week has decided to cooperate! This card should have been C4E R#3 submission but it just wouldn't work! I have used the sketch from Sketch & Stash, lucky it's a fortnightly challenge lol!

The image is again from the Meljen Freebie pack, love them!!

Coloured with Distress Inks, Stickles and Glossy Accents.

The DP I found buried in my paper stash.

I'm off to a birthday tea party today :) My little nephew was 4 this week bless him he's adorable!

C4E Recipe Challenge #4 - Polka Dots!

Hello everyone :)

I've been seeing spots for  few days with this weeks C4E Recipe lol! 

This weeks recipe is a theme recipe and we are asking you to use Polka Dots. The Design Team have rustled up some stunning examples for the gallery and the prize is a selection of 25 stamped images.

Again this week my cards have been sulking! This card is the second attempt, I've left the first to sulk on his own maybe in a few days he'll be in the mood to cooperate lol!

My cousins daughter gave birth to her first child yesterday, Congratulations Gemma! This card and 2 others yet to be made will be winging their way up to sunny Birmingham soon :)

I have used this weeks sketch from Friday Sketches (#139) 

I went dotty with the image this week too! Love this dotty background by Chrissy. The photo doesn't show the Stickles very well :( all his spots, mane, feet and tie are glittered......and everywhere else on the card lol!

C4E Recipe Challenge #3 - Embellishment Recipe

Hello everyone :)

We have a fab embellishment recipe to play with this week on the C4E challenge blog.

Crafty Sentiments designs, our regular sponsor is offering a cute digi stamp prize and the DT gallery is gorgeous as always!

I started with a card for this challenge and ended up with a layout! The card just wouldn't cooperate so I left that to sulk on my craft desk and sharing this layout called Escape.

 The layout was for a C4E page kit which has now sold out but there are a few papers available HERE

I'm fighting with a headache today so I'm keeping this post short, sorry :(

Hello :)

R#2 has been posted on the C4E challenge blog today. We have a colour recipe to play with this week. I should really check my stash before I set the challenges lol! I didn't have much blue DP to play with.

 I have used  this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch #137  which was lovely to work with.

The Gorjuss girl is coloured with Copics, and I have used some new flowers from Wild Orchid (yummy) which I think qualifies for the Cupcake craft challenge

As always I have attacked the card with Stickles, Diamond I think this time :) The sentiment is from Crafty Sentiments designs and the DP's are Basic Grey and stash!

Hello everyone :)

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year :) I took some time off from everything this year, it was lovely to spend some time with the family, building lego and watch rubbish TV!!! 

Back to work now and lots to catch up on and get sorted :)

I have freshened up the C4E Recipe challenge for the New Year with a fresh format to the weekly recipes. This week is a Sketch recipe which is simply a sketch to follow :) 

The DT gallery is Fabulous as always and if you hop over HERE you can see the challenge details and gallery :)

I have turned the sketch upside down for my card which I made for my niece's birthday on New Years day.

The image is a Gorjuss Girl stamp called Poppy Fields and is available HERE

I've used Distress inks to colour her and added some sparkle with Twinkling H2O and Stickles.
