crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #28

To quote the little white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.....
"oh dear, oh dear! I shall be too late!"
It's been one of those days where everything has been late lol!! The C4E recipe challenge has changed to Fridays and it has thrown me lol!! This weeks challenge is HERE with the fabulous DT Gallery.
This card is not only late for the challenge but also for the post!! It should be on it's way to Birmingham by now but it's late!
I got a bit distracted this afternoon with the distress inks and a blending tool! lol! It was very messy but lots of fun! The image is a clipart image I downloaded of the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland. Using a Tim Holtz blending tool and some distress inks I coloured over the image before adding it to my card.

I covered chipboard numbers with some kitchen foil and tried very hard to machine stitch circles onto the card, don't look too closely!! lol!!
I'm off to tackle the mountain of ironing in the other room.....yes I know it's 11pm but it can't be ignored any longer!!! I've tried to hide it, disguise it and just plain ignore it but the blooming thing keeps growing!! lol!!
Have a great weekend don't forget to check out the C4E challenge and DT gallery!!!

  1. Hi Michele
thats one job I hate doing as well, lovely card great image for being late.
    enjoy your weekend.
    Christine x

  2. Leave the ironing alone, it's holding your house up. At least that's why mine stays where it is! You made the sketch look easy too, why didn't you send me this?! ;) x

  3. Hi Michele,
Isn't it maddening how ironing takes on a life of its own & just keeps on growing. Most of ours isn't even mine!! Love this card. The image is gorgeous & the blending looks great. I like the sewing, so long as you don't describe it as a 'circle,' LOL!! It's fab!!
    Big Hugs,
    Andie xx

Thank-you for taking the time to comment :) I love to read them. Have fun! Hugs Michele x
