crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #31

Hello!
Someone pinched the sunshine!!! It's been wet and miserable here the last few days! I'm still having trouble getting to my craft desk lol! It seems the Munchkin has got the craft bug lol!
I did get to make this card for the crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge This weeks prize is this cute bear called Sam! The DT girls have made some gorgeous bear cards this week!

I have used another new Sam digi for my card this week with some gorgeous MME papers.

I have coloured Sam with copics.

That's it from me!
Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #30

Hello everyone!
It's been a beautiful week here in Somerset! So glad it's Friday though! And of course time for another Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe challenge. Scoot over HERE to see the challenge and beautiful DT Gallery.
I was a little late getting my card done this week I couldn't decide which film title to use!! lol! I also lost my craft desk for a couple of days this week too! No not under a pile of paperwork or ironing lol! My youngest munchkin took over my craft desk and I wasn't allowed to clear up until he was finished!
The film title I finally chose is my mum's favourite film "It's a wonderful life" The image I've used has little to do with the actual film except that all she could remember about the film at one point was that there was a white rabbit??
My piece of corrugated card is the bottom layer of the flower.
The image is one of my digi stamps which are available HERE. It's called Butterfly Kisses. I've coloured the image with copics and cut out using a circle nestie.
What to see the munchkin at work???
I really need to tidy up in here!! Who could resist this cutie??? lol!!!
Thanks for stopping by take care!
Hugs

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #29

Hello!!
Have you had much sunshine? Today has been lovely! DH took the boys out for a nice long ride on their bikes and a play in the park giving me a quiet afternoon!!
It's time for another Crafts 4 eternity recipe! This week the recipe is to use the sketch, use the colours black & white and add a piece of fabric.
I love the classy feel of black & white!
I finally got to play with my new Copics this week! I have coloured the Gorjuss girl in shades of grey, she has a ghost like feel.

a little closer look...... :)
It's the Crafts 4 Eternity crop on Sunday YAY!!! Really looking forward to a day with fabulous friends! If you would like to join us drop me an email and I'll let you have the details!

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #28

To quote the little white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.....
"oh dear, oh dear! I shall be too late!"
It's been one of those days where everything has been late lol!! The C4E recipe challenge has changed to Fridays and it has thrown me lol!! This weeks challenge is HERE with the fabulous DT Gallery.
This card is not only late for the challenge but also for the post!! It should be on it's way to Birmingham by now but it's late!
I got a bit distracted this afternoon with the distress inks and a blending tool! lol! It was very messy but lots of fun! The image is a clipart image I downloaded of the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland. Using a Tim Holtz blending tool and some distress inks I coloured over the image before adding it to my card.

I covered chipboard numbers with some kitchen foil and tried very hard to machine stitch circles onto the card, don't look too closely!! lol!!
I'm off to tackle the mountain of ironing in the other room.....yes I know it's 11pm but it can't be ignored any longer!!! I've tried to hide it, disguise it and just plain ignore it but the blooming thing keeps growing!! lol!!
Have a great weekend don't forget to check out the C4E challenge and DT gallery!!!

Best Friends

Hello!

Hope you had a lovely Easter!! We went to Devon for the day yesterday, we drove down to Appledore which was a lovely little village but nothing for the kids to do, so we went in search of a beach. A few minutes drive towards Westward Ho! and we found Northam Burrows and a HUGE windy beach. The kids were thrilled lol! They got covered in wet sand, threw rocks into puddles and dug down to Australia! lol! I got to play with my new camera and got some great shots of the kids. My mum wanted to go to Northam because she had been sent there from Birmingham to a children's convalescent home when she had rheumatic fever! She remembered the beach but sadly we didn't find the home. Still it was a lovely day out, blew the cobwebs away, literally lol!!

The first card I am sharing uses the sketch from this weeks C4E recipe challenge HERE.

The PP are some more of the lovely Homespun collection. The Blue one is glittered! The flourish is handcut from CS and glittered. The ticket is from the add-on kit for the March crop.
The lovely image is a Bells & Whistles image coloured with distress inks and H20's.
My second card is another mini card using papers from the Homespun collection.

The image is from the Magnolia winter collection kit. This Edwin is tiny!! Perfect for these mini cards. I have coloured him with distress inks.

Have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday!!
