Sunday has arrived again!! Where does the week go??? LOL!!There is a new sketch on the C4E blog HERE The DT have done a fab job again, hop over and take a look!! I have 2 cards for you with this sketch. The first one is the one I actually used for the challenge and given to DH for Valentines day. The second one was my first attempt at DH's Valentine card!!
This card has no Pattern paper!!!! Pick me up off the floor!!!:) I very rarely make anything without some pattern paper but I struggled to find one in my stash I liked for DH. The Black card is embossed with my cuttlebug. I thought about sanding it but left it alone this time, might try it next time. The image is another digital stamp from the C4E store, I have coloured it with silver H2O and watercolours and added some colour to the flourish with a pen. Printed sentiment and ribbon from stash.
You can't see the twinkle very well in this photo, but it does twinkle!! LOL
I went all out for DH with the inside too! The poem is a lovely little poem called "I love you for so many reasons." Some more embossed black CS and another heart finished off the card. DH liked it which is the main thing, even though he didn't get it until Saturday afternoon!!!
The second card using the sketch was intended for DH but started to look more like a baby card as I had coloured the bear lightly. So quick change to the greeting and I now have a new baby card to add to my card box.The papers are a digi download from Shabby Princess called "Express yourself". Stamped sentiment and ribbon from stash, which is looking a little low now!!!! LOL!!
The image is the Teddy bear digital stamp in the C4E store. When I first drew him he was a panda bear!!!! LOL He's had a bit of tweaking this week! Hope you like him!
