The week has just flown by again, I can't believe that it's February already and tomorrow my little baby is 3!!! We are having a little party for him this afternoon, Thomas the tank engine and In the night garden...again!!!!The C4E Sunday sketch has been posted you can see it HERE with the fab DT cards too
(2 new members this week!!!)..... and here is what I did with it....
The card is for Alixander's birthday. He loves tractors! trains,cars,planes.....everything! His fave sentence at the mo is "I like....." Bless him!! This one is for his brother Mikael to give him.The papers are from a free CD with issue 37 of papercraft essentials. The magazine has joined the rest of the pile I haven't read yet, some from before Christmas!!!
The ribbon is paper mania and of course the image is gorgeous Hamish fixing tractor, coloured with pencils.
I made 3 cards with this sketch, why? ......Because the first I can't post as the image isn't released yet! and the 2nd I just wasn't happy with. I used the same papers from the CD and a cupcake image from it too. I never get on with the free papers from magazines, I have a pile of them here, now and again I get them out and play and I am never happy with the results. Me thinks I should not try again!! Anyway I said I'd share the disasters too so here it is in all it's pink bubblegum glory!!!!!!!!!
I tried stamping on the papers with some free stamps with issue 62 of cardmaking and papercraft, a hint of colour and YUK!!! maybe it's too pink for me?I will leave you with the "lovely" cupcake???????

We've got masses of snow here today. The kids didn't want to go to school - especially when they saw the dogs going manic playing in it! I can't remember the last time we had any like this that settled for a while, it's so pretty :)
