C4E Sunday Sketch Challenge #3

Hello

Hope you've had a good week. It's been all go here getting ready for the site launch, ordering some great products and getting ready for my holiday. Quite a few birthday's and anniversaries fall in August so I have been busy getting ahead.

The C4E Sunday sketch Challenge this week is a nice quick sketch (helps when you've got lots of cards to make LOL)

I love these fun papers from Dream Street, Birdie bits. I have been dying to use them. They will be available to buy from the site when it goes live.

I have been meaning to do some real stitching on a project for a while now, and finally did some simple stitching on this card. The papers are digi papers from Shabby Princess, The vintage floral collection. I have used these alot..lol I noticed that a lot of the craft mags are doing projects with digi downloads, they are great for all sorts of projects and it's handy to have an unlimited supply of a collection.

And finally...K&co papers hidden away in my stash! These lovely daffs are so sunny and cheerful. I added lots of glitter glue to the flowers and butterfly. Nearly run out of this paper now!!

C4E Challenge #2

Hello

The C4E sketch challenge is changing to the Sunday Sketch Challenge this week. The next sketch will be posted on the C4E blog on Sunday 27th July. This gave me chance to do a few more cards using sketch #2!

I used We R Memory Keepers Urban window papers and ribbon for this card. I liked that I could use the flower paper on a mans card without it looking girlie.

This card used up some k&co papers I had buried in my stash, I really must sort through that...LOL. The butterfly die-cut was left over from my wedding last year.

And finally this card was made with some old k&co papers I found.

The next sketch challenge is Sunday 27th July pop over and take a look...

Spiderman

Hello everyone, welcome back!

I hope you all have had a successful weeks crafting.

This week I had to make cards for two Birthday parties my #1 son was going to, he has a better social life than me...lol

This was a bit of a challenge as one of the mums makes cards herself so it had to be good!!LOL With issues of copyright to keep in mind it was hard to choose a theme. This was solved when I found this Spiderman wrapping paper on sale in Woolworths! Combined with the sketch from Katharina PTW challenge last week (loved that sketch!!) and my favourite embellishment project this is what I made....

I made two embellishments and used one on the card and one for the tag on the gift. I will be posting this project on the Crafts 4 Eternity blog/site later.

PTW - Challenge

Hello everyone
The Paper take weekly challenge is a fab sketch from Katharina

I really enjoyed doing this sketch and I am pleased with the card, except for the stamped "happy birthday". It didn't look right, without it it was better.I have made this card for my uncles 70th birthday at the end of the month. My aunt also makes cards so she will probably lift this idea!!LOL

so here is the card....

Materials used: Bazzill cardstock - barkley. WRM paper & ribbon & chip nos - homemade woven thread from the urban window collection. brads - papermania.

crafts4eternity challenge #1

Hello everyone

Exciting news!...... My big project (I mentioned awhile ago) is a new website and blog. We have had a few technical problems with the site so it isn't live yet but it won't be long. In the mean time I have started the blog you can find it here Come over an join me with some fun in the lead up to the site launch. I will have lots of challenges and competitions running on both the site and the blog.The first challenge is posted, a sketch challenge, just to get us going.

hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I am waiting for the arrival of two new family members today! An 8 week old puppy and an 8 week old kitten!! I must be mad...lol I already have 3 cats and a labrador!! I will post pics of them soon.
what have i got to share today?
Well with all the digi kits I have been downloading recently I thought I had better do some actual digi L/O's ...lol so here they are......
This first one is my nephew having a go at rock climbing. He turned 6 yesterday, he was only 5 when he did this and he got so high, made me queasy watching him, so brave for a 5yr old!!
The digi kit is "my daddy-father's day" from "by gods design" I haven't added their link yet, I will update them soon.

This LO is my youngest son Alixander at the park. Alix loves the park he hates to leave it, I often struggle to get him out of the park!!lol.

The lo uses different elements from several kits inc:

I hope you have all had a good week. I have had the usual busy filled week!!LOL I promised a while ago to post pics of the FIL card and Father's day cards.... bit late but here they are...


I got a bit carried away with the stamping on this card and I think I over did it a bit. You can't see the #70 on the tag for all the stamping. I just don't know when to stop sometimes...LOL! All the materials are from my stash, paper mania I think!
This card was for my DH for fathers day. I used digi papers again!!!LOL It was a freebie download called "father's day sampler" from "here a scrap there a scrap" They are not in my links yet, i will get around to updating that soon!!
This card is for my nephews 6th birthday (04/07/08). the papers are Cosmo Cricket's Story time. Fab papers to use, i did another birthday card with them to add to my stash. I was a bit reluctant to cut into these as they are sooo lovely!!!LOL but I took a deep breath and did it!!

These are 2 ATC's I did this week too. Based on the mini butterfly book I made last month. All that glitter... I couldn't help myself, just had to make some more!!!LOL
So that is the crafty makes for this week, still more to do this month, always the way you get one batch done and there is more to do!! But I love it, I'd be lost without my crafting.
