Daisy Mixed Media Layout

Good Morning :)
It's Friday (again!) and time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity!
This week we have a sketch for you to play with.

You can use the sketch for any type of project, cards, layouts etc.

It's my turn to sponsor the challenge and I am offering one randomly selected winner a choice of 3 digital stamps from the C4E collection

As always there is gorgeous DT Inspiration too!
Hop over HERE to join us :)

My project this week is a layout featuring one of my lovely cats, Daisy.

I started off by adding modelling paste through a Crafters Workshop Punchinella stencil, then added some pieces of plasterboard tape to a 12x12" piece of white Bazzill cardstock.
The whole piece was given a coat of Gesso when it was dry.
I then added several shades of brown watercolour paints with plenty of water so that it pooled in the lovely texture. I added a little black watercolour for depth.

I added a sprinkle of Walnut Brown 3D-Stempel-Farbe (3D stamp-paint) from Viva Decor. This is new paint to me and I am experimenting with it. It has a lovely sparkle to it and has a nice consistency. I wasn't impressed with the white when I tried stamping with it :( More play is needed lol!

I didn't add much more to the layout, the DPs are a mix of Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket, all scraps.

The chipboard arrows are the negative pieces from Tim Holtz's Chevron die, coloured with Brown Gold Inka Gold. Inka Gold is another new product I am playing with, I am loving it! Gorgeous creamy texture which can be rubbed on without first painting Gesso on the chipboard! Real time saver :)

That's all from me today :)
Do hop over to see the fabulous DT inspiration and join us for this weeks challenge :)
Have a great day thanks for stopping by
