C4E R#12 - Technique/Theme Recipe

Hello everyone :)
Thank-you for the well wishes for the boys they are all better now and back to their normal naughty selves (hubby too!)
I am actually on time this week YAY! I am trying out some new methods to get organized at the moment I quite like this one at the start of the week you list everything you would like to get done in the week, then each day choose 5 things from the list to do. When they are done you add more one at a time.
My One Word for 2011 is organize, I failed miserably with it last year lol! so I'm trying again this year.
Anyway enough of that waffle! It's Friday and time for a new C4E Recipe. This week we would like you to include something hidden on your projects.
At the March C4E crop I taught several methods of Hidden journaling (including the pocket below) and included a simple hidden element to the crop kit layout.

Behind the photo is space to add lots of journaling and extra photos.

I bought some Perfect Pearls Mists to try and love them! This layout has a gorgeous shimmer, sorry it was really hard to capture it :(
The kit includes a length of vintage seam binding which I inked with Alcohol inks and blending solution. When it was dry I made the little flower below.

I used an Xcut punch for the leaves,  I love the shape of these leaves but the punch is terrible you have to get the leaves out with a pin which rips them. I am going to have to find a new one.
The velvet trim is from my stash and not included in the kit :(
I surprised myself with the sewing lol! it actually turned out neat lol!
Want some more inspiration? check out the fabulous C4E DT gallery!!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs
