Art Journal Pages

 Hello everyone :)
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! We had a lovely time with the family, lots of yummy food and fun!
The only thing I hadn't done by Christmas Eve was a lot wrapping and cards for my boys :( But they didn't notice lol!

This weeks Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe challenge is to feature a quote on your project. We have a fabulous prize up for grabs from Limited Runs Digi's and as always the C4E DT have lots of gorgeous inspiration for you.
Join us HERE for this weeks challenge and inspiration.
I have been having a play with Art Journaling over the last few months, I haven't had time to do much but am really loving it. The pages so far are heavily inspired by other talented Art  journalers (is that the right term?) many of which can be seen on my Pinterest board.

I have been filling an altered book with inspirational quotes, playing with different styles and techniques.
Hopefully I will find more time to work on Art Journaling next year as I'm loving it!!
Have a fabulous New Year, lots of luck and best wishes to you all for a wonderful 2012!!

RED GREEN and CREAM
My project this week is a layout :)
The papers are Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium.

I still need to journal on this one, do you have lots of un-journaled layouts? I seem to do that a lot, leave the journaling for one reason or another and then forget to add it lol!
These two Elves are my Blessing, I am so lucky to have two beautiful, kind....naughty boys! lol!

I've been using a lot of Tim Holtz diecuts recently! These are Caged Bird and Holly Branch. Love them!
I have inked them with Distress Inks and the Holly berries had a coat of Glossy Accents.

The kit for this layout is available HERE at Crafts 4 Eternity.

Hop over HERE to enter the challenge and be in with a chance to win one of 2 prizes from regular sponsors Digi Garden and Stamping All Day..........

Join us HERE for the challenge and see the gorgeous DT inspiration.

Not only did I snag the Reindeer this week I also snaffled the papers from next weeks crop kits! Sssh don't tell anyone lol!!
The papers are Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium and soooo gorgeous! I can't wait to make the inspiration layout with these!

I stamped the reindeer's bottom with some Gold Acrylic paint and a Prima flourish stamp, hope he doesn't mind :)
We have spent today at mum's helping to put up her enormous Christmas tree, amazing how many baubles fit onto that tree! The boys soon lost interest when we stopped them throwing the fir cones at the tree lol!

The cage was stamped with a script stamp and gold acrylic paint. The Robin was coloured with Distress inks and finished with Cinnamon Stickles.

Red and Gold are not my Christmas colours so I made a second one in blue and silver.

C4E Recipe challenge #43

 Hello everyone  :)
Busy evening here, I have 3 extra boys for Mikael's birthday sleepover !!
This weeks Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe challenge was posted this morning. We have a Magical Mystical theme!!
The DT gallery is full of gorgeous inspiration and we have a fabulous prize up for grabs from Stampin Dragon Designs. Join us HERE for the challenge.
My project this week is a page from a Circle Journal created at the Crafts 4 Eternity crop. Our CJ swap is well under way now and so much fun !
The page has been inked with Distress Inks, stamped with Stampers Anonymous stamps, Glimmer misted and stickled !!
One of the rules for this CJ album was to have a hidden tag. I used a Tim Holtz Alterations die to cut my tag and gave it the same treatment as the page.
The Dragon image was printed from the Internet, I have added Stickles and painted over some areas with Distress Inks.
I really must remember to post the other pages I have completed lol!
I guess I should go check on the boys and find some paracetamol lol !!
Have a great weekend
Thanks for stopping by.

Crafts 4 Eternity R#41

 Hello everyone  :)
This weeks Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe challenge is a colour recipe, we would like to see projects with the colours Purple and Orange.

Something a little different for me this week ! No pattern paper !
I stamped the Gorjuss Girl image onto some cardstock, created a mask and used Distress inks to create my background. I have stamped with various stamps including Prima and Stampers Anonymous.
I gave it a light spritz of Perfect Pearls Mists and added some white acrylic paint circles using the lid of the Perfect Pearls Mists.
The image was coloured with Distress inks and Twinkling H2O's.
The sentiment is handwritten and I finished off the card with some machine stitching.
Join us HERE for this weeks challenge and to check out the beautiful creations from the design team.
I have a busy weekend ahead, it's the Crafts 4 Eternity crop on Sunday :) I'm off to ice the cupcakes !
