Cute as you like

 Hello everyone :)

Sorry to be late with this week challenge post lots of family stuff going on!

Alix and I have been doing a bit of Easter baking, cupcakes and Easter biscuits. It's been hard work keeping them out of hubby's way lol!

I've made a card for a special little boy who turned 2 this month.

I pulled out the Distress inks for this cute Stampavie image.

 I've had the stamp for quite a while and don't think I've got around to using it lol!

 The tag is one of my Digital Stamps, it's the blank one from the Vintage Christmas Sentiment tags

The paper is Fancy Pants, flowers are mostly Wild Orchid Crafts and ribbon from my stash.

More baking tomorrow and another trip to Asda :) I might fit some crafting in at some point this weekend :)

Egg-cellent Easter

Hello everyone :)

Sorry I'm a bit late with my post today :(  The internet has been a bit iffy today.

This weeks Crafts 4 Eternity challenge is ...

EGG-CELLENT EASTER!

we would like you to share your Easter projects with us this week.

Any type of project, cards, gifts, layouts and even hats!

The Design team have been busy again and have some gorgeous inspiration to see, I enlisted the help of my 7 year old to make an Easter hat for his Easter bonnet parade at school today.

It probably wasn't the wisest idea to ask him what he wanted lol! 

"I want a baseball cap with eggs and daffodils"

EEK!!! 

Quick search online for some ideas of how to create a baseball cap from card and 2 attempts to get it right and we have a baseball cap.....sort of it wasn't quite tall enough!

 So we dug out the crepe paper and tissue paper, I start sticking while Alix has fun colouring in Easter eggs.

I drew some daffodil shapes for him to cut out and along with his eggs they are stuck on.

He wanted one hiding behind the sign.

Alix wrote the "Happy Easter" bunting which was squeezed on to the length of ribbon strung between two skewers.

 And here is the little monkey! He was a bit embarrassed in the parade and rushed past so quick all I got was a blurr lol! Got him when we got home though!

So thanks to my baby for helping me with this weeks DT project!

My card this week is for my MIL, she loves cats so this image from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps is purrrrfect for her! (sorry had to be done lol!)

The papers are from my stash, the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and it has been finished with Stickles.

  

 The image was coloured with Copics and Stickles added to finish.

I have made 3 cards this week! *shock*

So I will be back with them as soon as I can.

Back with a card!

 Hello again :)

I'm back! 

It's been a busy few months but I've really missed this blog and my lovely friends here so I am once again going to try to keep up with it. 

Thank-you to everyone who followed me over to the C4E cafe blog, I will still be blogging there too and hopefully will be sharing more tutorials and shop news as we go along.

  My mojo has taken a bit of a holiday recently too :(

I haven't made a card for ages and really enjoyed making this one for this weeks C4E challenge.

The C4E Challenge this week is Tic Tac Toe!

We have a fabulous prize up for grabs from regular sponsor Stamping All Day and of course beautiful inspiration from the DT girls!

The three squares I chose were flowers, circle and lace.

 I'm a little rusty with the Copics lol! I'll have to get some practise in.

You can't beat a little purple to help the Mojo return!
