c4e R#57 - O Christmas Tree

Hello everyone :)
It's time for a new recipe on the C4E challenge blog, and I don't have a project :(
I seem to have been rushing all my DT projects recently and to me they are not 110% so this week I haven't made anything but...........
my DTeamies HAVE made beautiful cards :)

This weeks recipe is to use the sketch above and include a Christmas Tree. The prize up for grabs is this cute snowman digi I designed called SnowRag.
Hopefully I will be back with some projects I have made recently including 2 easel cards and layouts.
Have a great weekend, don't forget to turn your clocks back and have a fab Halloween :)

Fright Night!

 Hello :)
I have a layout to share today :) This one was made for the UKS Oct wk1 challenge and the GBSB weekend. We were challenged to use up the scraps of DP's that we have, use a grid, circles and something new.
Using lots of different DP's with this photo worked really well as there are so many strong colours in it.

I picked up some Halloween stickers in the Pound shop recently which was my something new and circles :)

I've kept the embellishments very simple just a couple of squares of DP scrunched up and finished with a quick sticker. The doodling was done with a white gelly pen. DP's are Basic Grey Eerie collection.
It's the C4E Crop tomorrow YAY!! Looking forward to a Christmassy day with the girls :)
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

C4E R#55 - White Christmas

Hello Happy Friday!!
This weeks C4E Recipe is to follow the sketch, use the colour white and a Christmas theme.
All the challenge details and the fabulous inspiration from the design team can be found HERE.
This weeks prize is a cute Digital stamp from Crafty Sentiments.

I have made a Christmas Pizza box this week. It was really hard to use only white so I have added sliver and blue in too :)
Little Alf was coloured with Distress inks and H2O's.
I wanted a distressed tag to fit the Crafty Sentiments sentiment but didn't have anything suitable so I drew one! I messed up the stamping a bit though!! :)
I'll have to make something to in the box now lol! maybe a calender or little notebook.
I'll be taking my eldest son to his first residential weekend tonight! He is doing a Maths and Science weekend at Kilve Court near Bridgewater. It's the first time he's been away from home without any family! I'm going to miss my little helper, he usually helps me pack the crop kits! lol!
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

Bunting :)

Hello everyone :)
I can now share this Bunting class I did for the UKS Green Buttons Scrapping Bonanza weekend last weekend!
The Kit is available HERE with everything you need to complete this Bunting.
I really have loved using the Crate Restoration Collection lol! I have also used My Minds Eye brads and DP, Prima e-line flowers and Bazzill Cardstock. The Ribbon was bought from my local haberdashery as were the beads.

It was really hard to get a good photo of the whole bunting so here are the individual 'flags'

Thanks to Margaret from the C4E crop who discovered a quick way to sew the centers of the rosettes, so much easier than a needle and thread!
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

Time Lost

Hello everyone :)
Back again with the second layout from the C4E September crop.
This layout and kit uses the fabulous Crate Restoration collection.

The layout was also completed for a UKS weekly challenge last month. We were asked to scrap about a guilty indulgence. It was nice to scrap about something other than the usual family stuff.
The watch embellishment is from a surprisingly large stash of watches I found in my jewelry box!
I have used Restoration Chipboard accents, Prima e-line crystals and dress makers pins to embellish.
Thanks for stopping by have a great day!

Hello everyone :)
Finally found time to share this layout with you!
This layout was for the C4E September crop and also entered in the UKS House challenge coming 2nd in the final!
Kits are still available HERE
These My Minds Eye papers are gorgeous and needed very little to go with them.

The Flowers are Prima e-line flowers with a ribbon tied cinnamon stick in the center.
I gave the flowers a quick spritz of glimmer mist too :) The leaves are punched using Martha Stewart Fond branch, and the bling is Prima e-line crystals.

C4E R#53 - Wacky Weather

 Hello :)
It's Friday and time for a new recipe over on the C4E challenge blog :)
This weeks recipe is to use the sketch and a weather theme.
The DT Gallery is fabulous as always and the prize up for grabs this week is a chance to be Guest Designer for the month of November with a selection of C4E digital stamps!
I still need to make Christmas cards so my chosen weather is Snow!
There's not really much to tell about this card, lots of glitter and snowflakes!
The DP's were in my Christmas paper box probably Dovecraft or similar.
The large 1/2 snowflake I hand cut and ran through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder. Finished with ath silver Stickles outline.
This snowflake is cut with a spellbinders create a flake die and covered in fine glitter.
Friday also means it's time for the UKS Green Buttons Scrapping Bonanza weekend to start! It all begins at 6.30pm with a layout class from me! There will be lots of classes and challenges across the weekend so it should be great fun. It's an in-house event to help find some lost mojo's!!
