c4e R#48 Favorites :)

Hello everyone :)
Sorry to be late this week I woke up with a migraine this morning :(
This weeks recipe has been posted on the C4E Challenge blog We are asking you to use the sketch, your favorite colour and favorite image. The prize this week has been donated by DTeammie Pinky! Thanks Pinky :) And of course The DT girls have made some fabulous inspiration for you.
Choosing my favorite colour was easy, finding Lilac/purple DP's was not so easy! I can't believe how little purple stash I have!!! Must remedy that lol! It was also hard to choose a favorite image. I decided to use my favorite Gorjuss girl as I haven't used them for awhile.

I'll leave you with the recipe for this card as I can hear the sofa and pizza calling me!! lol!
Have a great weekend

July crop layouts!

Hello everyone :)
As promised I am back with the layouts from the July Crop.
The first is called "Snapshot" and was also entered into the July House challenge on UKS. It made it all the way to the final!....and came third :) First time I have been in a final on UKS :)
This layout was scrap lifted from a very talented scrapper on UKS called Taniwha
I have written a post on the C4E Cafe Blog on how you can do this layout and the "Explore" layout.
I have used very little DP and lots of yummy flowers and chipboard which was painted with crackle paints.
The second layout is called "Explore" and is of my eldest munchkin on a beach in Devon. My boys love the beach :) A very simple layout with only a few embellishments. The little glass square beads are from an old mobile that hung in the boys bedroom, shame it got broken but the beads are great for layouts!
The Beach Bingo card is one of the Summer Bingo cards.
The next 2 layouts use the Tim Holtz Masks. There is a post HERE on the C4E cafe blog about how to use them.
There is something quite refreshing about sitting on a windy beach! It blows away all the cobwebs. The photo on this layout is my mum sat on a beach in Devon. The DP's are My Minds Eye which can be found HERE
Again I have used a C4E Bingo card, the title is Prima Chipboard alphas old script.
The last layout is "1st Day" and is a photo of the munchkin on his way to his first day at pre-school. Can't believe he starts school on a few weeks!
The DPs I have used are from the Hoot Hoot kit  I cut lots of circles with my Cuttlebug and nestabilities circle die and added them around, under and over the photo. The Title was made using the Tim Holtz Ransom masks as templates then using the Timeworks masks I inked them the same way as the background.
I sold out of the masks at the crop but will be getting some more soon :)
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

A couple of layouts :)

Hello everyone :)
We have a rare day of sunshine today! Lovely :)
I have a couple of layouts to share today. These were both done for weekly challenges on UKS last month.
The first is "Dirt Girl World" One of the requirements of the challenge was to use a film or TV title, Dirt Girl World is a kids programme on cbeebies :)
I had actually planned to have all the pieces straight, but I caught them with my arm and I liked the tilted look better. The photo is of my mum on her allotment.
The papers and flowers are from the Strawberry Picnic kit. Title is Felt Thickers.
The second layout is called "ZzZz" It is a 8.5x11" layout.
The photo is of the munchkin sound asleep on the arm of Nana's chair. I have used a lot of inking and distressing with this one, The Bingo card is one of my first tries before releasing the Summer Bingo cards I did have some printed ones to add to the store but they sold out at last months crop!
I have inked and stamped on the Thickers chipboard shaped and the Z's :)
And some handstitched circles using the Bazzill In-stitch 8x8" circle template to get a neat circle :)
Thanks for stopping by have fun!
