As always there is a fabulous DT gallery and prize up for grabs.
Of course I am a little late with my card lol!
Lots of twinkles on this card (as usual!) and my poinsettia which has been stamped with Ranger Dabbers and attacked with Stickles!
The image is from LOTV coloured with Distress inks and Stickles.
Sorry about the poor photo's I can't seem to get them right at the moment.
We have a lot of snow here in Weston which is unusual for us! My car has been stuck since Friday and DH's journey to work in Bristol has been a little fraught! The boys think it's great lol!
This is the card I should have posted last week! Oh well lol! I did get it on the C4E blog just didn't get to blog about it. I also didn't share the crop layout and class!
I may catch up one day lol! If I don't make it back this week I will wish you all a
MERRY CHRISTMAS
&
 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

R#61 - **Twinkling Stars **

 Hello everyone :)
So glad it's Friday lol! It's been a hectic week :) It started snowing here this afternoon, the boys have been so excited so far we just have a light dusting but it's very cold Brrrrrrr!
This week recipe has been posted and we are asking you to follow the sketch and include some stars on your project. There are some beautiful examples from the design team and a chance to win some C4E digi's!
Scoot over to the C4E blog to check it all out :)
I dug out an old stamp for my card this week which was quick to colour with the Copics and some gold stickles.
I've seen a few diecut poinsettia's about recently which are gorgeous! I don't have a poinsettia die or punch so I got my pencil out and created a quick digi poinsettia. I printed it onto the reverse side of some textured white cardstock, cut them out, pinched and inked the petals and hey presto poinsettia flowers in any size or colour I like :)
I have a couple of mini books to get on with so I shall leave you with the recipe for this card and wish you a fab weekend!
Thanks for stopping by

Birthday cards for Mikael

 Hello :)
I have 2 cards I made for Mikael's (DS1) birthday last month. I think I still have last months crop LO's to post too lol! I'd better check back :)
The first card uses another of Sleike's cute images coloured with Copics.
The DP's are Basic grey and the sentiment is from Crafty Sentiments.
This card was for Alix to give to his big brother when it came to writing it he needed a little help (he's 4 :)) so pen in hand we try to write but he is getting stressed. It wasn't until I saw him pick up a pencil later that I realised he had been trying to write with his right hand when he is left handed!! Whoops!!
The second card is another easel card. I used some K&co DP's and lots of stickles.
The image is from Lily of the Valley and coloured with Copics. There's a bit of a shadow across the bottom right of the photo, it wasn't coloured so dark! Must replace the daylight bulb in the lamp. I noticed when I looked on Ebay for some bulbs the other day, that they now do all sorts of daylight bulbs so I was thinking of replacing all the bulbs in my craft room. Should help to keep me up later to get more done! lol!
3 sleeps till the C4E crop!! YAY! A day of crafty fun with lovely ladies perfect!
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

R#58 - Doodle-Tastic

 Hello everyone :)
Sorry to be late with my C4E challenge post :( It's a bit manic here with Birthdays and family stuff!
This weeks C4E Recipe is to use the sketch and add some doodling. The prize up for grabs is a selection of 25 stamped images, perfect for topping up your stash :)
As always the DT gallery is beautiful check it all out HERE!

I didn't intend my card to be quite so girly! The little girl I sent it to is not very girly lol!
I have done two types of doodling, some faux stitching and the doodled background behind the little girl. It's a great way to add a different background. I first saw this on Chrissy's blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone :)
It's time for a new recipe on the C4E challenge blog, and I don't have a project :(

my DTeamies HAVE made beautiful cards :)

This weeks recipe is to use the sketch above and include a Christmas Tree. The prize up for grabs is this cute snowman digi I designed called SnowRag.
Hopefully I will be back with some projects I have made recently including 2 easel cards and layouts.

Fright Night!

 Hello :)
I have a layout to share today :) This one was made for the UKS Oct wk1 challenge and the GBSB weekend. We were challenged to use up the scraps of DP's that we have, use a grid, circles and something new.
Using lots of different DP's with this photo worked really well as there are so many strong colours in it.

I picked up some Halloween stickers in the Pound shop recently which was my something new and circles :)

I've kept the embellishments very simple just a couple of squares of DP scrunched up and finished with a quick sticker. The doodling was done with a white gelly pen. DP's are Basic Grey Eerie collection.
It's the C4E Crop tomorrow YAY!! Looking forward to a Christmassy day with the girls :)
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

C4E R#55 - White Christmas

Hello Happy Friday!!
This weeks C4E Recipe is to follow the sketch, use the colour white and a Christmas theme.
All the challenge details and the fabulous inspiration from the design team can be found HERE.
This weeks prize is a cute Digital stamp from Crafty Sentiments.

I have made a Christmas Pizza box this week. It was really hard to use only white so I have added sliver and blue in too :)
Little Alf was coloured with Distress inks and H2O's.
I wanted a distressed tag to fit the Crafty Sentiments sentiment but didn't have anything suitable so I drew one! I messed up the stamping a bit though!! :)
I'll have to make something to in the box now lol! maybe a calender or little notebook.
I'll be taking my eldest son to his first residential weekend tonight! He is doing a Maths and Science weekend at Kilve Court near Bridgewater. It's the first time he's been away from home without any family! I'm going to miss my little helper, he usually helps me pack the crop kits! lol!
Thanks for stopping by have fun!

Bunting :)

Hello everyone :)
I can now share this Bunting class I did for the UKS Green Buttons Scrapping Bonanza weekend last weekend!
The Kit is available HERE with everything you need to complete this Bunting.
I really have loved using the Crate Restoration Collection lol! I have also used My Minds Eye brads and DP, Prima e-line flowers and Bazzill Cardstock. The Ribbon was bought from my local haberdashery as were the beads.

It was really hard to get a good photo of the whole bunting so here are the individual 'flags'

Thanks to Margaret from the C4E crop who discovered a quick way to sew the centers of the rosettes, so much easier than a needle and thread!
Thanks for stopping by have fun!
